Clover, or Trifolium Repens (scientific name for clover), is one of the most common plants found in yards during the spring and summer seasons. Clover first arrives in your yard via unseen seed and creeping stems that root along the ground.
To prevent clover from further spreading, it is necessary to act quickly and carefully. Mowing over the clover doesn't get rid of it, but actually causes aggressive growth as it will now become harder to contain. A simple solution to clover problems is through fertilization. Fertilization will help your grass grow, while killing all weeds, dandelions, and you guessed it, clover!
Grass should be fertilized with Ortho Weed b-gon supplies for the best results. After some time and a little bit of fertilizer, all clover will have vanished, allowing your grass to flourish more than ever!
