Shhh! The Secret to Fertilizer!

After much trial and error, I have finally found the secret to effectively using fertilizer to its full potential! The secret is knowing when it is the perfect time to apply the fertilizer to your grass. The perfect time is..........(drum roll please).......... after it rains!

Here's why: If the grass is wet, putting down fertilizer will be more useful as the water helps it stick to the grass. By sticking to the grass, the fertilizer is able to do its job better to provide healthy supplements to your grass and kill any unnecessary plant life that hinders its growth.

However, it is important to know that if there is too much rain, and your grass seems to be a bit flooded, it's better to not put fertilizer down. With large puddles in your grass, all the fertilizer will collect in these pools and not do its proper job. So, make sure when applying fertilizer to your grass, it is after a nice and light rain, not after a massive downpour.
